On Halloween, my friend Joe G. posted a picture of himself dressed up as The Avengers. For some reason, I really wanted to draw that concept, without all the Joe G. parts. He’s a nice man, but no thank you. I made some changes and added a Nick Fury eyepatch because Joe G. doesn’t think. Shame on you, Joe G.

I actually just saw that photo of Joe G. last night… both are pretty great. And yeah, the eye patch seems like it shoulda been a no brainer. Good work.
Have you ever drawn the Super Skrull and/or Super Adaptoid and/or Mimic?
I have a soft spot for ‘power mix’ characters. Though for some reason I don’t like Amazo very much. Maybe because he doesn’t incorporate the look of the characters he’s mixing like the others? I don’t know.

I have not, but I absolutely would love to draw those characters. And while I don’t mind Amazo and do kind of like his look, I totally think you’re on target about the mixing thing. While coloring this, I was thinking about doing a Justice League version.
