603. James Gordon


So, I watched GOTHAM. It was… eh. Ben McKenzie and Donal Logue were quite good. McKenzie’s come a long way since The O.C. But otherwise, eh. There’s a reason that, for the most part, we don’t see stories about Bruce Wayne as a child, or Batman’s major rogues before they were rogues. Because… who cares? There’s potential in a young Jim Gordon, but for the most part, unecessary. If this were more along the lines of Gotham Central – a Batman-less story about regular cops having to deal with the world that a Batman has occupied – then I’d see more appeal in watching this show. I’ll give it a few more eps, who knows, it could surprise me. But I doubt it.
