Seriously guys, I am better at Spider-Man than anyone. And I am also disappointed in all of your for your lack of support of “Pork Fist”, with the exception of Jason Young who greeted my phone call to him with a rousing “Pork Fist!”. He’s good people, no matter what I’ve said in the past that may contradict that.

Just this morning I was reading an interview with Jack Kirby where he said he and Joe Simon came up with a character called The Silver Spider for a comic called Black Magic. But then Black Magic’s publisher, Crestwood Publications, went under and Jack retooled the character to be a superhero (instead of whatever he was originally going to be in Black Magic) for a struggling company called Marvel.
Spidey’s success was a major part of what led Marvel to do so many superhero titles which leads me to the conclusion… if Crestwood would’ve never went under what would the comics industry look like today?
And speaking of what would things look like… I’d love to see Eric’s rendition of the Silver Spider! Thwippidy Dippidy Doo!
