Ten years ago or so, I drew a picture of The Flash on the toilet in my friend Joe Grunenwald’s Flash-themed sketchbook. It’s a pretty amazing sketchbook filled with some amazingly talented comic greats. And my sketch of The Flash on the toilet. This is the pinnacle of everything I’ve ever done. Knowing that at one point in time, Darwyn Cooke maybe saw my Flash on a toilet sketch and shook his head in disgust is the best thing ever. This is my legacy.
Yknow what? Fuck depression. If I die today, I’ll die happy knowing that Flash on a toilet exists, and now has (yet another) companion piece.
