Is any of Cerebus worth reading? I know Sim went crazy latter on in his run, but I’ve never read a stitch of it, and I feel it might be a notable hole in my ‘classic 80s independent comics’ reading list.
I’ve only read the first couple issues from the first tpb, back when it was a Conan parody. I did not enjoy them, and did not finish the trade. My friend Jason swears that they’re amazing, eventually.

When i think Cerebus i think of an awkward moment of silence & a man who takes himself very seriously…
