457. Mud Man

Next week on Gutter Trash, Jason and I will be reviewing Paul Grist’s Mud Man. We are currently reading the book still, but I decided to draw the character. I drew this entirely with some new pens I bought today. Seemed successful.

    Love it!
Oh Paul Grist. How do I love thee… let me count the ways… you continue to break my heart with long delays.
Jack Staff is easily one of my favorite comic anythings of all time. Kane’s pretty great too. Mudman wasn’t quite as compelling as either of those, but it was still better then 90% of super hero comics right now. But damn it, Paul Grist just can not keep to a schedule, which hurts (already within razor sharp margins) sales. Which makes the schedule slip, which hurts sales, and then over a year hiatus latter. Still no Mudman 7. fffffffffffffffff
Grist is suppose to have a new series showing up the the pages of the Judge Dredd Megazine sometime this summer. Called, Demon Nic. It looks like this. https://imageshack.com/a/img401/7632/xlom.jpg
    I’m hype.

  1. Grist is pretty much the bees knees in everything except for shipping a damn book out on time or focusing on one project. I know he was fooling around with a return of Kane too, but then that just disappeared as well.
