This is my favorite of the Doctor drawings. And the saddest, weathered eyes and face I think I’ve ever drawn. I’m not good at likenesses, so I know this doesn’t look so much like John Hurt, but good lord I love John Hurt and his inspiration on this.
I love this one too! I’ve seen maybe six episodes of anything Doctor Who in my life and, though enjoyable, they’ve never won me over into full fledged fandom. That said, these portraits are pretty fantastic in their own right.
