While I mentioned last month that I find certain characters difficult because of the artist’s style and how ingrained it can be to the specific character, I found Popeye relatively easy and more adaptable to interpretation. I pulled a lot from the Robin Williams portrayal for this. It was pretty fun. I’ve never drawn Popeye before. At least not since I was like 6 years old, anyway.
Also just realized both Patrons requested *eye* characters this month.
