I’m a Creep

My first exposure to The Creeper was the “Greatest Joker Stories Ever Told” trade paperback. I was fascinated by the bizarre character. Ditko’s some kind of genius. Crazy, but genius. I even was a big fan of The Creeper series from the late 90s. Not so much the Steve Niles series. Best forgotten.

Did you ever read the “Beware the Creeper” miniseries? I forget who wrote it, but Marcos Martin drew it. It was really good.

Also, I totally have the first appearance of The Creeper. That’s right. Who wants to touch me?

That was a Vertigo series, right? I should check ’em out.

And normally, I want to touch you, but I have the first issue of the original “Beware the Creeper”, so there.

It was indeed a Vertigo series. It’s not really related to The Creeper at all, so I suppose it’s more of an Elseworlds, but it’s an excellent read.

I’m always down for a “not in continuity” story. In fact, I prefer them. Especially after reading about what is the current continuity for The Creeper. He’s a demon, y’know. From Hell.
