The Crow hot take: Eric Draven isn’t dead. I feel like this is spelled out pretty clearly in the comics, but I have seriously never read anyone ever back that up. Maybe some lost interview with J. O’Barr? I dunno. But he’s a guy who was nearly dead, he’s pretty scarred up from getting shot in the head, he’s insane/brain damaged, and is merely just taking and moving through damage inflicted upon him in the single-minded quest for vengeance. He never crawls out of a grave, the titular crow doesn’t give him power, etc. a bunch of other stuff from the movies and subsequent non-O’Barr comics.
