Carol Danvers in her Warbird/Ms. Marvel costume. I had pretty much forgotten she existed until she appeared in Kurt Busiek’s Avengers, and then I had no idea why her head wasn’t on fire anymore. Oh well, whatever. Comics.
I think Warbird/Ms Marvel suffers from a really uniconic look. Her costume doesn’t seem to represent anything about her (what’s the deal with the ‘S’ shape?) Which ultimately makes her feel like super-powered muscle filler. I mean, she probably should be the Marvel equivalent of Wonder Woman at this point. But she’s not.

Maybe the “s” is supposed to imply a lightning bolt, ala Captain Marvel (Shazam)?
