I try to work well in advance, so it is merely a sad coincidence that today’s sketch is a supporting character from Judge Dredd comics. Yesterday, Dredd’s co-creator and original artistic voice – Carlos Ezquerra – passed away. While Ezquerra had no hand in creating Judge Hershey directly, without his designs and vision, there would be no character.R.I.P.

It’s October, and it’s Inktober, which I pretty much totally forgot was a thing that happens. I usually do a theme month thing in October, and this year is no different.A few months ago, Windows pretty much wiped everything from my computer during an update, and I had to basically restart from scratch. When I reinstalled Windows, my scanner no longer worked.About a week ago I bought a new scanner and now I can fully participate in Inktober with some traditional paper & ink sketches.The theme of the month this year is Ladies’ Month! 31 awesome female characters will take the spotlight.
