It’s my dad’s 72nd birthday today. We were so busy celebrating and partying that I nearly forgot to post today’s sketch.
Happy Birthday, Dad. Never come here.

I referenced Carrot Top when doodling this.
185. Milkshakes and White Power

Last night on my way home from my parent’s house and just before Drawing Night, I stopped at a UDF (United Dairy Farmers) – which is essentially a convenient store/gas station with a full ice cream bar. I know they’re prevalent in Ohio, but I’m not sure about other places.
Anyhoo. I was standing line with a beverage and a snack when I saw this family standing at the front of the line. The dad – the main focus of the sketch – was turned away from me from the most part. But at one point, in a greater effort to further ignore his children and their mother, he turned away from them and I was able to see that super-awesome tattoo his was sportin’ on his neck. Surprised, stunned and yet quietly to myself, I whispered “Seriously? Holy shit.”
So. Y’know, just another Dayton, Ohio family out for a treat late on a Saturday night.
