Not sure about the history of Koo Koo, but there was apparently two of them, and both appeared in Tod Browning’s FREAKS – a great movie if you’ve never seen it.

The story of Zip is probably one of my favorites in the entirety of the history of sideshow performers. Look it up.

Inktober 2016 Theme Week #4: Sideshow Freaks
I know that JoJo, the Dog-Faced Boy is far more famous than Lionel here, but I like lions better than dogs.

Also a bit of a cheat, as Frankenstein from Death Race 2000 is not really a monster, but, whatever. My blog.

Funny thing, the day after I drew this one, the movie was aired on television. This monster barely appears in the movie at all. At least, I never saw it. I was doing other stuff (like drawing). Maybe I passed out? I dunno.

I cheated a little on this one. This is Audrey II from the mid-80s musical remake of Little Shop of Horrors. Which, yes, I’ve seen. Multiple times. My mom took me out of school early to see it during it’s opening week in the theater. So there. Anyway, I couldn’t find a decent picture of the original version of Audrey II, and what I could find, the plant was kinda uninspiring.

I don’t think I’ve ever seen this movie, but I know I’ve seen the monster. For whatever reason, as a small kid, I saw this creature, and it has stuck with me forever. It’s ridiculous and I love it.

Inktober Theme Week #3: ROGER CORMAN MONSTERS
Roger Corman is the king of schlock cinema, and I’m gonna celebrate his quantity over quality film monsters this week. First up is actually a request from Jason Young.
