When I went on vacation last month, my mp3 player crapped out on me. So instead of dozing & listening to music during the flight, I drew my view of the plane from my seat (1st row, aisle).
100 Kirbys: The Aftermath

As always, each Kirby sketch can be had for a minimum fee of $5.00.

To any new followers or onlookers since I started the 100 Kirbys project, or even since I started the sketchcards:
Sorry.
Theme months are over and done with for a while.
As dumb as this sketch is, it felt really good to draw something so dumb and not Kirby-related or a nerd-culture headshot portrait trading card. Don’t worry, I’ll be back to that stuff soon, but I’ll be littering in more weird stuff.
Meanwhile, a good majority of the Kirby sketches are still available. Let me know if you want one.

Annihilus

Funky Flashman

Galactus

***
Ending the 100 Kirbys with three of Jack’s greatest, deadliest villains.
I took a little artistic license with Funky Flashman. I think Kirby would have approved.
So, all the Kirby sketches are a minimum of 5 bucks.
Except Galactus. I drew him on 11 x 17 bristol board, so he’s gonna go for a minimum of 10, or best offer.
It’s the end of the month, any money I’ve raised will be going to The Hero Initiative tonight. Any remaining sketches that anyone wants, I will still gladly offer for a minimum $5, and still donate. Just ask! There are still quite a few left.

Psycho-Man

Hercules

Warlock

***
I had a real brain hurty trying to decide if I wanted to include Adam Warlock in my 100 Kirbys list. While technically, Kirby did create him (or, as he was known back then “Him”), I always think of Jim Starlin or Gil Kane when I think of Warlock. Ultimately you can see my decision, but, seriously, I wavered on this for quite a while. I think I finally decided to do go for it when I realized that, honestly, there are a ton of other characters I’ve drawn that wound up in very different states and situations than Kirby probably ever intended.
