1447. Jack Pumpkinhead

It also does not surprise me that Bruce Hughes would pick Jack Pumpkinhead as a request. Interestingly enough, I recently watched a Rifftrax of an terrible movie called The Wonderful World of Oz, in which Jack was prominently featured/made fun of.

1446. The Hound

While I know equally as much about Game of Thrones as I do Critical Role, I have at least heard of it. And Bruce Hughes knows me well enough to know that I’d enjoy drawing a guy with a half-burnt face. Bravo, sir.

1445. Abraham Lincoln

Knowing Bruce Hughes as I do, it is not surprising he chose Lincoln as a sketch request. My regret is that I did not draw him sad enough. He’s got The Hypo for God’s sake.

1444. Henry Spencer

An odd request as we continue Bruce Hughes Week, but one that is close to my heart.

PSYCH is one of my favorite, endearingly fun and sweet shows. While Henry is not my favorite character, the show wouldn’t be the same with him. Good job, Corbin Bernsen. Good job.

1443. Scanlan Shorthalt

It’s Bruce O. Hughes Week. If there’s any person I know who has long deserved to have a week of sketches dedicated to them, it’s Bruce. He is my oldest friend. We went to art school, and hated each other. Somehow, that turned to friendship, and for a long while, creative partnership. We had a falling out and reconciled some time ago. Even when we were not talking, there was always a spark of him in my brain, berating me or insulting me.

So. This guy. Sparkler Sharpwheel. Apparently there’s a thing called Critical Role? I had literally never heard of it until Bruce asked for Scotsdale Spurningburger for one of his requests. And then, of course, I discover that he’s really not even a thing, and the only references I could find were other fan art pieces of him. So. Here it is. Slowclap Schorenberg.

(That last one is – 100% serious – often how my last name gets butchered).

1442. Wolverine

One final sketch request from the one person I’ve probably asked the most requests: Joe Grunenwald.

Eh, I still have a full week unscheduled, I’ll probably ask him again.

1441. Jareth the Goblin King

Hi. My name is Eric. You may know me from this very website. I do a Sketch-a-Day.

I will be ending the Sketch-a-Day.

I’m just so tired. I’m dedicating the last few weeks to theme weeks from long-time friends and supporters who haven’t gotten a time to shine. Also, because I just have no motivation.

Also, I’m asking friends to help fill some of the empty spots with requests. This one is from my friend Li Morgan.
