On today’s milestone 350th episode of Gutter Trash, we review Fred Van Lente & Ryan Dunlavey’s THE COMIC BOOK HISTORY OF COMICS. It’s incredibly informative, educational, and entertaining. And, Van Lente & Dunlavey create the single greatest comic character within the pages of CBHoC. So great, that my pal and Gutter Trash co-host Jason Young and I decided to both draw said character. Ladies and gentleman, genius in comic form: CROTCHSHOT.

I had mostly a blast making this cover (I had some real art material issues with this, so it was frustrating trying to work when my brush, my ink, my paper were all conspiring against me. I also had to color it twice). I’m fairly proud of how it turned out.
