It’s weird. You’d think the formula for a decent Fantastic Four movie would be simple to translate, but it’s like Marvel doesn’t have any interest in trying.

189. Invisible Woman
Seriously, I guess I don’t quite get why an FF film has never been made or attempted.
188. The Thing
It’d be nice if there were ever a Fantastic Four movie.
168. Iceman
Always loved Iceman, definitely due to Spider-Man and His Amazing Friends. When I started reading X-Men comics I was always disappointed that he wasn’t in many, if at all. Then I discovered the original X-Factor. Bobby’s gone through a lot of dumb bullcrap in his fictional life. Including, apparently being retroactively gay. I’m all for …
167. Ant-Man
Saw Ant-Man last night with my pal Joe G. I enjoyed it quite a lot. It’s a very entertaining comedy/heist film/superhero hybrid. The in-continuity stuff isn’t overwhelming. Edgar Wright’s presence is there in like a pleasant aura. It’s got a lot of heart. Paul Rudd is charming as hell, Michaels Douglas and Peña are absolutely …
153. Gambit
As we head into the holiday weekend, I’d like everyone to remember that Gambit’s hair is a ponytail that is pulled through his headsock.
150. Power Man
Last night I watched CHAPPIE with my mom. It’s the newest movie from Neil Blomkamp (?), the director of DISTRICT 9 – one of the best movies of the last 10 years or so. CHAPPIE is no DISTRICT 9. It’s barely a PLAN 9. That’s a little unfair. But still, it’s not great. It’s definitely …
106. Colossus
I watched an MST3K yesterday, a 1959 Mexican movie called Santa Claus. If that’s not enough to gear you up, then you are more dead inside than I am.
105. Darkhawk
Don’t ask why.
