Evil Toons
Did a cover for the comic adaptation of the Fred Olen Ray movie Evil Toons, which stars auto-erotic fetishist David Carradine, legendarily underrated character actor Dick Miller, and a bunch of naked chicks. Listen, the movie is not good, and the title is a lie. There is only one “toon” and it is in the movie for a total of 2 out of its 90 minutes. But please, buy and read the comic!

Splatter University
Cover for the comic adaptation of the low-budget slasher Splatter University. I was told not to reveal the twist, but when I was sketching out ideas and did a quick Duck-Duck-Go search, the twist was spoiled almost instantly in various movie posters, VHS and DVD releases. So, if you want to go in blind, don’t search it.
Also, don’t watch it. It’s terrible. But, buy the comic!
Notably, the movie features Jim Martin in a small role – future and former guitarist for the band Faith No More, and eventual star of Bill & Ted’s Bogus Journey!

I usually hate drawing likenesses, but I’m down with Angus Scrimm’s The Tall Man of the Phantasm movies. He is such a distinct and unique face, he’s pretty easy – and a pleasure – to draw.
I had planned to watch all the Phantasm movies fairly recently, but the first is such a slog to get through, I bailed. I may try again.
