I’m not great at drawing animals, but Krypto was a lot of fun. Mostly because he is the goodest boy, especially when not voiced by Dwayne The Rock Johnson.

Cover for a comic adaptation of “Mahakaal”, the Indian/Bollywood remake of “A Nightmare on Elm Street”.
There are subtle differences between this the Wes Craven Classic. For one, the “Freddy” is a demon of death, not a child molester reborn as a dream monster. He also has a mullet, and doesn’t talk a lot. Oh, and the movie is about 2.5 hours long, has several extended musical numbers, and a main supporting character has a bit where he impersonates Michael Jackson for a lengthy period of time, plus other “comedic” (?) choices.

Happy Kirby Day, on this, Jack Kirby’s 108th Birthday. What could be a more respectful piece?
The client stumbled across this sketch from last year, which included a very long-standing offer from yours truly: “I will draw all your favorite superheroes on toilets for a reasonable price.” This goes back to the first time I did this by ruining my friend Joe’s sketchbook.
They asked if a supervillain was okay, and, yes, of course. I will also draw all your favorite supervillains on toilets for a reasonable price.
They asked specifically for a parademon outside a window having stolen Darkseid’s toilet paper. I added the bathroom decorations and the Omega Beams.
Darkseid was drawn entirely with a real brush and ink, with quill pens for the detail. I have never really done that for a full piece before. I’m quite pleased with the outcome. The background and parademon were done with Pentel art pens, and the Omega Beams with an acrylic paint pen.
My commission list is always open, and, as always I will draw all your favorite superheroes (and villains) on toilets for a reasonable price.

I have been itching to draw this very visually striking new-ish Superman supporting character since her introduction. I mean, modern Western character, stylish, hat, mask, guns, boobs. What isn’t there to love?

I love this ridiculous character.

It’s my birthday day. Another year has passed. As I write this, it is actually my dad’s birthday. He was gifted a case of shingles for his 84th. So… that’s not great.
As for me, well, things are surprisingly… stable. Decent relationship where we act like adults to each other. Parents still alive. I’m raising two destructive chaos monsters that some of you refer to as “cats”, who are named after vampires – aptly, because they are draining the life out of me (and blood, if you take a look at my arms or hands on any given day). The depression and anxiety, while still present, are generally held at bay and calm. I did lose (quit) one of my part-time jobs, and so while I have taken a massive blow financially, I’m still surviving. It’s tight, but it’s okay. The thing is, it’s taken so much stress off of me. I worked an insane schedule for nearly seven years – a schedule that some people thought were contributing to my decline in health and my near-death experience from 3 years ago. Listen, I may not be able to buy toys, comics, and movies on physical media like I used to, but I’d rather live freely. So anyhoo. I have a Patreon and am available for commissions.
All-in-all, Age 46, not bad.
Now I head into my late 40s.
Clench.
I drew Hulk. I was watching the 80s Hulk cartoon. Sometimes it’s that simple.

Wouldja believe this was originally supposed to be Jonah Hex?

Brainiac from the failed Tim Burton Superman movie, based on several pieces of concept art, as filtered through me. I like this. I could see this in a Mars Attacks-esque way. This also has similarities to what Gary Oldman turns into in the Lost in Space movie.

I did a longer-form YouTube process video here. First time I’ve done a hand-drawn one in years.
I enjoy Death’s Head, the most 2000 A.D. Marvel character ever, yes?
