271. Hulkenstein

I have iffy feelings about the Hulk, but I do kinda love drawing him sometimes. For Hulkenstein, I just thought about Hulk with stitches and electrodes, but whenever I’ve drawn The Frankenstein Monster, I usually like to make him a lot more patchwork quiltified than he’s usually shown. So, multi-colored Hulks get Frankensteined together.

So you might say, “Eric, I bet you’ve never drawn a woman crawling out of a tv before!” And I would take you up on that bet, because this isn’t even the first time this week I’ve drawn a woman crawling out of a tv! Psylocke meets The Ring girl, Samara. Someone asked me to …

269. Slenderman Rorschach

I’d always held V for Vendetta to be Moore’s superior work, but held Watchmen pretty high up. Shortly before the movie came out, I tried re-reading it and could not make it through at all. 267. Hack/Slash

Another old gift for a former friend.

266. Re-Animator

This awful piece of shit was also a gift for a former friend of mine.

265. New Teen Titans

Drew this many years ago as a jam piece with mah’boogie Jason Young as a birthday gift for our boogie Joe Grunenwald. I’m not one to criticize Jason Young or his art. He’s one of the damn finest cartoonists I know. However, this entire piece is terrible, mostly due to my own contributions and I …

264. DC Kids

I drew this about 5 or so years ago. Sold it to a friend. I had started coloring it (evidenced by lil GL’s plane). Listen, I’m a trendsetter. Skottie Young hadn’t been doing countless kid variant covers, and Yale Stewart’s cock hadn’t been making money from bootleg fanfic.

263. X-Men

A recreation of the classic Art Adams X-Men poster that I have hanging up outside my bathroom. You’ve seen it. I drew this as a gift for my friend Kathleen who doesn’t talk to me anymore and I’m pretty sure she just fucking hates me now. I have been coloring on this damn thing for …

Another oldie.
